Himanshu shines in Mr Mohali c’ship

CHANDIGARH:Himanshu of Mohali claimed the first position in the below 55kg category during the 7th Mr Mohali, 2nd Classic Mr Mohali and 5th Mr Kurali Body Building Championships, held Vishwakarma Hall, Kurali, on Sunday.

Himanshu of Mohali claimed the first position in the below 55kg category during the 7th Mr Mohali, 2nd Classic Mr Mohali and 5th Mr Kurali Body Building Championships, held Vishwakarma Hall, Kurali, on Sunday. 

Aniket claimed the second position, while Ajit claimed the third spot. In the below 60kg category, Rajesh Kumar, Kabir and Vivek-all from Mohali-claimed the first three positions, respectively, while Sameer Bhagat, Dev Ashish and Rahul won the top three positions in the below 65kg event. Sonu won the top position in the below 70kg category, followed by Manpreet Singh at second position and Suraj Kumar at third. In the final pose down of the below 75kg category, Gursharan Singh claimed the top position, Anil finished second and Jairaj claimed third position.  

Suraj Kumar won the below 80kg category gold, while Tushar won the silver medal. Rajinder Singh claimed the bronze medal. In the below 85 kg category, Suresh Kumar, Paras Sharma and Devank Gupta won the top three positions, respectively, while in the +85kg category, Jaspreet, Jaspreet Mann and Varun Sharma claimed top three podium positions, respectively. The winners  were awarded with cash prizes. A total of  80 bodybuilders partcipated in the championship. —TNS
