Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, August 4

The  Met Department on Saturday issued an alert about heavy rain in many places, including Dehradun, Haridwar  Pauri, Tehri, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli and Pithoragarh in the next 72 hours. 

It has also issued an advisory for pilgrims, commuters and residents, living in the hilly and low-lying areas, to be alert and remain in touch with the government. The Department of Disaster Management, the police and the SDRF have been told about the bad weather conditions.
