A 19-year-old youth from Haryana was arrested with 1.2-kg charas here on Sunday evening.
The accused has been identified as Ramesh Kumar of Shahpur village in Rohtak. He was stopped for checking near Larji.
The police said he had been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Act.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mandi, Hitesh Lakhanpal said the accused was a student.
He said they were interrogating that how he got involved in this illicit trade.
