Guv to preside over R-Day function in Shimla

SHIMLA:Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the state-level Republic Day function on The Ridge here.

Shimla, January 16

Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the state-level Republic Day function on The Ridge here.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rajeev Bindal will preside over the district-level function in Mandi, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur at Una, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor at Kullu and MPP & Power Minister Anil Sharma at Kinnaur.

Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary will preside over the function in Chamba, Agriculture Minister Ram Lal Markanda at Solan, Health and Family Welfare Minister Vipin Singh Parmar at Bilaspur and Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar at Hamirpur. Forest Minister Govind Thakur will attend the function in Dharamsala. — TNS
