To check illegal migration and stop exploitation of youth of Punjab at the hands of fraudulent travel agents, our government will soon enact a law.

This was stated by Charanjit Singh Channi, Technical Education and Industrial Training and Employment Generation Minister, Punjab, at the two-day international conference at the ITFT College here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Channi said, “We will soon set up a special cell to provide services to help youth for going aboard for education and employment,” he added.

Punjabi film director Manmohan Singh and wrestler Harpreet Singh Robo were honoured on the occasion.

Prominent amongst others present on the occasion include Linda from Canadian Consulate, Tom, director, North India British Council, NS Kalsi, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Affairs, Punjab, and DK Tiwari, Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training.
