Panchkula, November 2
Kalka MLA Pardeep Chaudhary today made a surprise inspection at Public Health Centre (PHC) in Morni and interacted with the patients there.
Chaudhary said the government should improve facilities at the PHC in Morni so that people did not face any problem in getting treatment. He said the government was playing with the health of the patients as only one doctor had been posted at the PHC and that too on deputation. He said in emergency, patients had to rush to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, or the PGI in Chandigarh.
Later, while addressing the Congress workers, Chaudhary said the party would hold a dharna at Majri Chowk in Panchkula on November 10 to protest against the anti-people policies of the government. He said he had received overwhelming response from the workers and people and he would always be available when people needed him.
He said that the government should now stay away from the anti-people policies and work for the benefit of the people. He said farmers were suffering as the government was not ready to redress their grievances.
