Members of the Guru Nanak Dev University (Non-Teaching) Employees Association (GNDUNTEA) on Thursday held a protest against the university authorities for not releasing the wages according to the 6th pay commission recommendations. The employees under the presidentship of Hardeep Singh Nagra held a protest despite heavy rain since morning.

Association joint secretary Manpreet Singh said the authorities had not implemented 6th pay commission recommendations. Even the DA has not been paid to the employees despite several reminders and requests.
