Tuning the light intensity and reducing the concentration of atmospheric particulate matter (PM) in commercial buildings are both crucial to keep indoor people comfortable and healthy. Smart windows fabricated on the flexible and transparent silver (Ag)-nylon electrodes can tune the light intensity entering commercial buildings to maintain thermal comfort. Havana cigar festival to begin today

Havana: The 21st edition of the annual Cuba’s Habanos Cigar Festival will begin here on Monday, which will showcase new premium handmade cigars to domestic and international aficionados. The long-anticipated event, which brings together cigar lovers, experts, executives and traders from around 60 countries, is also dedicated to host the city’s upcoming 500th anniversary this Novembe. The festival, which will run until February 22, has become a meeting point for manufacturers, distributors and consumers from various latitudes. IANS

Grammy winner Musgraves to present Oscars 

Los Angeles: Singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves has been added to the list of people who will be presenting the trophies to the winners at the upcoming 91st Academy Awards. The 30-year-old musician recently won the 2019 Grammy Album of the Year award for her record “Golden Hour”. According to Variety, the Academy is yet to announce which award Musgraves will present at the awards ceremony but it is expected to be one of the two music awards — best original song and best original score.
