GLADA e-auction of properties begins today

LUDHIANA: The Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has offered for sale 20 commercial sites and residential plots with a total reserve price of Rs 42.

The Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has offered for sale 20 commercial sites and residential plots with a total reserve price of Rs 42.63 crore for sale through e-auction. The online bidding would commence at 9.00 am tomorrow (January 1, 2019) and would continue till 3.00 pm on January 10.

According to GLADA officials, the sites put on the block include seven shop-cum-offices (SCOs) in Dhandari Kalan, Phase IV, three SCOs in Dugri, Phase II/III; three SCOs and an equal number of booths in Dugri, Phase II/III Bypass Road; three residential plots of varying sizes in Sector 39-A on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road and one cinema site in Dugri, Phase II, Urban Estate.

The SCOs with a floor area of 137.24 square metre each in Dhandari Kalan carry a reserve price of Rs 1,04,476 per sq mtr, those in Dugri, Phase II and III, with an area of 185.87 sq mtr each and on Bypass Road (area 111.52 sq mtr) have a floor price of Rs 2,03,534 per sq mtr while booths measuring 27.87 sq mtr each command a reserve price of Rs 1,73,281 per sq mtr.

Three residential plots in Sector 39-A (2 plots area 177.04 sq mtr and one plot area 378.76 sq mtr) carry a base price of Rs 32,150 per sq mtr while the cinema site in Dugri Urban Estate having a total area of 1,486 sq mtr, offered for sale, has a reserve price of Rs 71,733 per sq mtr.

As per the offer document, eligibility fee for participation in the e-auction has been fixed at 2 per cent of the total reserve price for SCOs in Dugri, Phase II and III (including those on Bypass Road), and cinema site in Dugri Urban Estate. For SCOs in Dhandari Kalan, Phase IV, the eligibility fee would be Rs 3 lakh, for booths in Dugri Phase II/III Bypass Road Rs 1 lakh and for residential plots in Sector 39-A, intending bidders would be required to deposit an eligibility fee of Rs 2 lakh.
