33 youth get jobs at placement drive

A placement camp was organised at the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises (DBEE), here today under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of the Punjab Government. A total of six companies participated in the placement camp. For 60 vacant posts, 33 youths were recruited.

The participating companies included Rockman Foundation, Pukhraj Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Dominos Pizza, Coca Cola, Bharti Axa Life Insurance, and some others. Meenakshi Sharma, Deputy Director, District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Ludhiana, informed that these companies had 60 vacant posts, against which they recruited 33 youth on the spot.

She said a job placement camp was being organised in the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises premises (near Partap Chowk Ludhiana) on every Friday of the month from 10:30 am onwards and interested and the eligible candidates could attend it along with their original educational documents, Aadhar Card and any category certificate (if any) along with its photocopies.
