Jammu, January 14

Senior Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma has asked party workers to gear up for the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a meeting of party workers at Akhnoor, he said BJP workers “may try to unleash the campaign of malicious propaganda against the Congress and try to score brownie points of their so called development agenda before the public”.

“Efforts should be made to expose the BJP so that people are not fooled again. The party made so many promises like abrogation of Article 370, construction of Ram Temple, settlement of PoK displaced persons and allotment of plots to border population, but nothing was done,” Sham Lal said.
