Four killed in road mishaps

SHIMLA: Four persons were killed and 11 injured in three accidents in Kinnaur and Shimla districts. Two persons were killed when their vehicles fell into a gorge at Labrang Mod in Kinnaur late last evening.

Four persons were killed and 11 injured in three accidents in Kinnaur and Shimla districts.

Two persons were killed when their vehicles fell into a gorge at Labrang Mod in Kinnaur late last evening. The deceased were identified as Tula Ram and his brother-in-law Anil. They were on their way from Spillo to Labrang. The bodies were handed over to the families after a post-mortem examination.

A girl, identified as Tamanna, was killed when her car skidded off the road due to snow near Musran in the Nerwa area of Chopal. Other occupants — Gopal Singh, Kaushalaya, Smriti and Lakshay — are under treatment at the Nerwa hospital.

One girl died while another was injured in an accident on the Anandpur-Patyyud road, near here, today.  The identity of the girls is yet to be established. The car was being driven by Anil Kumar of Khanol in Kunihar. He is admitted  to the IGMC, Shimla. — TNS
