Four persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in two cases of drug peddling. The police claimed to have recovered 40-gram heroin in both cases.

The CIA-1 staff arrested two persons identified as Harsimran Singh of Lakkar Bazaar and Munish Mehra of Mohalla Fatehgunj.

Sub-inspector Avtar Singh said they recovered 20-gram heroin from the suspects and arrested them near CMC Chowk, the police said.

The Division Number 3 police have arrested Vipan Kumar of Naulakha Garden Colony and Tejinder Singh of CRPF Colony.

The police claimed to have recovered 20-gram heroin from their possession. ASI Satish Kumar said the accused were drug addicts and were friends. — TNS
