Setting the alarm bells ringing for the Haryana BJP ahead of the Assembly elections, four MLAs believed to be from the "Rao Inderjit camp" have lashed out at CM Manohar Lal Khattar for his alleged bias against them and indifference to their constituencies.

Pataudi MLA Bimla chaudhary, Kosli MLA Vikram thekedaar, Cabinet minister Dr Banwari Lal who legislator from Baawal and Narnaul MLA Omprakash Yadav have accused CM Khattar of humiliating them. The BJP MLAs hit out at the CM during a press conference in Gurugram.

"We have been chosen by people as we have toiled for years working for them but the CM does not give us even the basic respect of inviting us to public functions," Bimla Chaudhary said, adding "he held a public meeting in my constituency on Sunday and despite being the local MLA I was not called".

She said, "MLA of Pataudi may be a small thing for the CM but our MP and venteran leader Rao Inderjit Singh who is also a central minister and had got many long-pending projects and funds approved is also being ignored."

Chaudhary claimed that it's not she but three other MLAs have also been ignored. "It is a protocol to mention respective MLA's and MP's name on foundation stones. Ironically, Rao Inderjit, who played a pivotal role in getting projects, hardly finds a mention on stones which the CM rushes to unveil. We feel humiliated. Are we not equal part of BJP as CM Khattar is? His actions hint that he doesn't want a team but wishes to be one-man party. Inderjit is out of town and we will approach him soon," she added.

Chaudhary said after meeting Rao Inderjit, they would be meeting BJP president Amit Shah with their greivances.

The MLAs were joined in by Gurugram Mayor Madhu Azad and her mayoral team who also alleged humiliation by MCG officials owing to alleged differences between Rao Narbeer Singh and Rao Inderjit.

"We are mayoral team of one of the biggest districts and richest MC, but the CM despite remianing in Gurugram half-a-month has not given us an appointment to meet him. Majority of councillors and mayor are believed to be supporters of Inderjit while all officials are pro-Narbeer Singh so no councillor or even the mayor is informed about any project being approved undertaken or inaugurated in Gurugram," said a councillor.

"I will not take names but I fought on BJP symbol and won and it was party's decision that I become mayor. However, in last one year we are just accessories in this MCG. The projects are started in our constituencies, but the MCG officials even inform us. They pay no attention to problems of constituencies and despite being mayor I am nowhere in picture when it comes to civic works in city. We have many a time highlighted the problem but no action was taken, so we will now seek the party high command's intervention," said mayor Madhu Azad.
