New Delhi, September 11

The Opposition Congress today said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s remarks that young Indians these days preferred to commute by Uber and Ola rather than buy their own car reflected the minister’s “inefficiency”.

Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said the FM’s justification for a serious economic slowdown typified her ‘inefficiency, immaturity and inexperience.” The FM should apologise for what she said, the Congress demanded, terming the minister’s remarks as a joke on the state of economy. — TNS
