Pati Patni Aur Woh
This Bollywood comedy drama once again touches upon the topic of a married man giving into the temptations outside his marriage. The film, centred on a simple wife and spunky love interest and a fallible husband, has been directed by Mudassar Aziz and stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday and Aparshakti Khurrana in the lead roles.
No fun this
I expected much more from the film. But rather than making it a situational comedy, they have made it a patchwork of one-liners and recycled husband-wife jokes.
Gauri Bajaj, housewife
Thumbs-down
May be the expectations were too high from this film. I didn’t feel for the characters or their emotions. The performances of all the actors have been quite on the surface.

Panipat
Period dramas and the grandeur of it will always have ready audience. Panipat, the latest offering by director Ashutosh Gowariker, narrates the history to do with the 18th century mighty Maratha warrior who bravely took it upon himself to save his land and people from Afghani invaders. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, Mohnish Bahl, Zeenat Aman and Padmini Kohlapure in pivotal roles.
Historical escapism
The film is nice as it lets one revisit history, India’s past regal glory and the decisions and mistakes committed by people in that era.

Very watchable
I enjoyed watching all the forgotten faces of Indian cinema like Mohnish Bahl, Padmini Kohlapure and especially Zeenat Aman. If you enjoy such films, then this will be a good addition to the watch-list.
