Ludhiana, January 22
Seven-year-old Masoom Ansari has been diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anaemia and is undergoing treatment at Christian Medical College and Hospital with patient number C-7814031.
This is a fatal disease where bone marrow fails to produce major types of blood cells. The ideal treatment for him is a bone marrow transplant with a high potential for cure with the bone marrow transplant.
His father is a daily wage labourer who is unable to support his treatment. The family is trying its best to shore up as much finances as possible. He has his father as the potential donor and it will be very beneficial if he could proceed with the treatment.
CMCH has called upon well-wishers to donate for his cause.
The hospital has collected upto 70 per cent of his funds and requires further Rs 2 lakh to support his transplant and proceed with the admission.
Donations can be in the form of multi city cheques or bank drafts payable to Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana Society.
