Final turnout in state 70.34%

CHANDIGARH: Joint Chief Electoral Officer Haryana Inder Jeet Singh on Tuesday said 70.34 per cent voting was recorded in the state during the General Election. He said 71 per cent men and 69.61 per cent women voted.

Joint Chief Electoral Officer Haryana Inder Jeet Singh on Tuesday said 70.34 per cent voting was recorded in the state during the General Election. He said 71 per cent men and 69.61 per cent women voted.

The turnout percentage was 75.97 in Sirsa, 74.32 in Kurukshetra, 72.37 in Hisar, 71.12 in Ambala, 70.72 in Sonepat, 70.57 in Rohtak, 70.49 in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, 68.35 in Karnal, 67.36 in Gurgaon and 64.12 per cent in Faridabad. — TNS
