Quinton de Kock scored a rapid half-century as South Africa defeated Pakistan by seven wickets at Newlands to claim the five-match One-day series 3-2.
Opener De Kock bludgeoned 83 from 58 balls as South Africa chased down their victory target of 241 with 10 overs remaining for a convincing win. The home side restricted Pakistan to 240/8 in their 50 overs, with Fakhar Zaman the only batsman to register a half-century as he struck 70 from 73 balls. Imad Wasim (47*) laid on a vicious assault late in the Pakistan innings. De Kock led from the front, belting three sixes and 11 boundaries during his entertaining knock.
