Farmer shot in Rohtak

ROHTAK: Naresh (35), a farmer, was shot dead at his house in Chandi village of the district on Thursday night.

Naresh (35), a farmer, was shot dead at his house in Chandi village of the district on Thursday night.

The assailant(s) fired five shots at Naresh, who was sleeping in the verandah of his house. Members of Naresh’s family suspected that he might have been killed due to old enmity.

On the basis of a complaint by Naresh’s brother Gulab, the police registered a case against Harish and Bagga of the same village.
