English Literary Circle and Department of English of JCDAV College Dasuya organised the second season of inter- college quiz competition based on English grammar and literature—‘The Wizards Quiz’.
As many as 14 teams from different colleges participated in this event. SPN College, Mukerian, bagged the first position and won the title ‘Wizards-2018’. Doaba College, Jalandhar, and JC DAV College, Dasuya, bagged the second and third positions respectively.
Gursimran Singh of SPN College, Mukerian, was declared the best participant.
This quiz was sponsored by Amar Shakuntla Rana Charitable Trust, Palampur.
Vice-principal Prof MS Rana congratulated the students and motivated them to work with diligence and self confidence. He applauded the endeavour of the department of English for organizing the quiz.
