Employees XI in final

Damanpreet Singh and Prabhjot Singh hammered a half-century each to help Tricity Employees XI beat Shiva XI by 59 and enter 6th Corporate League final here on Monday. 

Batting first, Tricity Employees made 222/3 in 20 overs. Damanpreet smashed 74 off 41 balls, while Prabhjot scored a 21-ball 52. Puneet Singh blasted 46 off 18 balls. For Shiva XI, Gaurav Dhir, Anand Bhishnoi and Yatin claimed a wicket each. 

Needing 11.15 runs per over for victory, Shiva XI could only manage 166/9 in the allotted overs. Gaurav Dhir made an 18-ball 46, while Kapil Bharadwaj contributed 28 runs to the chase. 

For Employees XI, Harpreet Singh took three wickets, while Kulwinder Singh claimed two wickets.
