Eight scientists participate in 2-day training course

Ludhiana, January 18

The Directorate of Extension Education, PAU, under the guidance of Dr Jaskarn Singh Mahal, Director Extension, organised a two-day training course for scientists and demonstrators of Home Science from the Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The training course, held on January 17 and 18 saw the participation of eight scientists.

The course, coordinator, Dr Rupinder, said the participants were given hands-on training in clay modelling by Dr Surinderjeet Kaur and Dr Geetu Gupta. Demonstrations on making pappad-variaan were given by Dr Poonam A Sachdev and Dr Sukhpreet Kaur. Dr Ritu Mahal shed light on academic and emotional management of rural kids and youth.— TNS
