Spring Daleans excel in quiz

Amritsar: A three-member team of Spring Dale Senior School comprising Purva Dua, Hetal Arora and Gurpreet Kaur bagged the first runners-up position in the zonal round of PSYCH-ED 2019, a national-level psychology quiz conducted by Fortis Healthcare on August 16 in Mohali. Principal Rajiv Kumar Sharma said the team attained the feat after competing with 12 best teams from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttrakhand. “There were 4,000 teams from 700 national and international schools, who participated in the quiz,” Sharma said.

Principal releases book

The principal of Prabhakar Senior Secondary School, Chheharta, Rajesh Prabhakar, on Friday released a book titled “Grey Matter”, written by Dr Bhajan Singh Lark. A collection of heart-warming and soul-stirring poems, the book is available at Rs 120.  TNS
