EC deputes expenditure observers

Patiala, April 23

The Election Commission has deputed two expenditure observers in the Patiala constituency to keep a tab on expenditure of candidates during the 2019 General Election. 

Expenditure observers Goutam Kr Mandal (IRS) and Anand Upadhay (IRS) reached the city today. 

Mandal would supervise the expenditure of Patiala (rural), Sanour, Patiala, Samana, Shutrana Assembly segments whereas Upadhay would supervise the expenditure of Nabha, Rajpura, Dera Bassi and Ghanour segments. 

The Deputy Commissioner said residents could directly contact the expenditure observers for any complaint or information near National Institute of Sports from 4 pm to 6 pm.
