Ludhiana, October 5

More than 150 people took part in the ‘Run to Save Environment’ on Saturday morning. The event was organised by Decathlon stores. They were followed by a team of Aaram Physiotherapy Clinic (APC) to attend to any untoward situation. Decathlon store manager, Ludhiana, Rajesh said: “There is something for everyone during these two days. This event intends to be inclusive rather than exclusive, an approach to make sport more accessible for all. I invite Ludhiana residents on October 6 to take part in the 20-km cyclothon on the theme – Ride for Women’s Safety, which will start at 5:30 am from the Decathlon store. Families that play together, stay together.” Dr Dheeraj KV, Director, APC, said: “People are suffering from all sorts of aches, sprains etc. these days because of sedentary lifestyle. People should take the responsibility of staying fit and eating healthy, exercising and taking proper rest, which eventually leads to a good life.” He congratulated Decathlon for marking their 3rd annual sports day and said such events should be arranged continuously, so that the general public can live stress free, active life and stay away from the addictions of today’s world.— TNS
