Chandigarh, October 27

A faux pas by Dushyant Chautala of the JJP while taking oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana may cause legal issues in taking over the office.

During the course of reading out the oath, he was heard saying "Bharat rajya ke up- mukhyamantri ke roop mein shapath leta hun".

That would amount to taking oath as "deputy CM  of India", instead of Haryana state.

The JJP has joined the BJP government headed by Manohar Lal, helping it attain a comfortable majority after the single largest party fell short of simple majority by six seats.
