A faux pas by Dushyant Chautala of the JJP while taking oath as Deputy CMof Haryana may not necessarily cause any legal issues in taking over the charge, as experts say it all depends on the Governor who administered him the oath.

“Though he (Dushyant) committed an error while reading out the oath, but eventually he signed the oath written correctly on paper in the presence of Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya. Now, it is up to the Governor to decide,” said a senior officer associated with the Assembly.

He said under such circumstances, a view is taken that the oath was deemed to have been correctly read. — TNS
