Dr BR Ambedkar remembered

Mahaparinirvan Divas of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar was observed in the town and surrounding localities. Office bearers of various organisations led by President Shree Balmiki Mandir Committee Raj Kumar Bhatti and Bhartia Balmik Dharam Samaj leader Montu Adiwal paid tributes on the occasion the death anniversary of father of the India Constitution after his garlanding his statue at Ambedkar Chowk at Jagera road here today.

Speakers hailed the efforts of Baba Saheb Ambedkar as a social reformer, an advocate and a politician who paved foundation for uplift of members of lower strata of society.
