Dr Maninder Singh Bhasin was unanimously elected president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Khanna branch. He would take charge from the outgoing president Dr NPS Virk on January 1.
Dr Bhasin said his priorities would be to work for the welfare of medical professionals. He added that he would try to organise more academic sessions for doctors so that they could be apprised with advancements which would ultimately benefit patients.
Khanna SMO Civil Hospital Dr Rajinder Gulati, doctors and staff of the hospital congatulated Dr Bhasin on his appointment.
