Dr Ashwini is teachers' body chief

SHIMLA: Dr Ashwini has been appointed the president of All-India Federation of Teachers Organisation (AIFTO), the second largest organisation in the country with 12.4 lakh members in 27 states and two union territories.

Shimla: Dr Ashwini has been appointed the president of All-India Federation of Teachers Organisation (AIFTO), the second largest organisation in the country with 12.4 lakh members in 27 states and two union territories. “Senior leaders of the organisation have preferred the youth this time,” Rajneesh Rana, national media secretary of the AIFTO said on Sunday. He said the organisation would continue to fight for qualitative education and the interest of teachers. TNS
