BATHINDA: Delhi Public School (DPS) hosted its winter carnival that witnessed participation by children along with their parents in large numbers on the school premises here on Sunday.

Delhi Public School (DPS) hosted its winter carnival that witnessed participation by children along with their parents in large numbers on the school premises here on Sunday.

Group Captain Jaspreet Singh, Vayu Sena medal recipient, was the chief guest.

Food joints offering mouth-watering dishes and sweets also drew a good response from participants. The programme started with enthralling orchestra tunes followed by a melodious song sung by the school choir. Children from the DPS playway wing and schools like Morning Star, Kids Gurukul, Bal Gopal, Kids Care, Daddy’s Teddy, New Era and others presented beautiful items, besides taking part in a fancy dress competition and a Mummy Baby dance show. Punjabi Virsa, a stall exhibiting the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, stole the show. — TNS
