Chandigarh’s Dharmendra Singh bagged the overall title during the First Pace Classic Bodybuilding Championship at Yavnika Garden, Sector 5, here on Sunday. 

Lovely Sharma clinched the men physique title while Mohit Kumar of Sonepat won the physically challenged category. Rita of Himachal Pradesh was adjudged the winner in the female category. As many as 60 men and women participants from all over the country participated in the event in 12 categories. 

The aim of the event was to promote physical fitness and positivity among youth to channelize their raw energy. The first-five positions holders were awarded medals, trophies and cash prizes along with certificates recognized by Indian Body building Federation and Panchkula Bodybuilding Association. All the first position holders received Rs 2,100 cash prize and all female participants were awarded cash of Rs 1,100. Apart from the cash awards, the top-three position holders were gifted food and dietary supplements.
