Deliberations held at PAU on improving ties

Ludhiana, February 13

A five-member Canadian delegation headed by Dr Janaka Ruwanpura, Vice-Provost International, Dr Anil Mehrotra, Professor and Director CEERE, Dr Baljit Singh, Dean Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Bill Rosehart, Dean Schulich School of Engineering and Uli Ng Regional Manager Asia-Pacific visited Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) to identify possible areas of collaboration in research and teaching.

Dr Ashok Kumar, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, presented an overview of the various departments, infrastructure available for conducting research and practical teaching in various fields of agricultural engineering. He also highlighted possible areas of collaboration among both the universities. Dr Ruwanpura deliberated on strengthening institutional ties and identifying focus areas for research collaborations.

Dr Rosehart gave an overview of programmes at the Schulich School of Engineering and expressed his interest in conducting high impact research in collaboration with the PAU. TNS
