CUP to start 6 new courses

Six new master’s-level degree courses will be introduced at the Central University of Punjab (CUP) from the 2019-2020 academic session.

As per the university authorities, based on the university’s outstanding academic and co-curricular performance, the University Grants Commission (UGC) recently sanctioned new courses/departments at the CUP. The new master’s-level courses include master’s in fine arts, psychology, physical education, library and information science and theatre and dramatic arts.

The authorities mentioned that students can visit the university’s official website www.cup.edu.in and check the details of various programmes in basic and applied sciences, education, engineering & technology, environmental and health sciences, global relations, health sciences, languages, literature and culture, legal studies and governance, social sciences, mass communication and media studies and management disciplines.

The CUP invites admission applications in master’s and doctoral-level programmes through CUCET-2019. Students can check complete details and apply online on www.cucetexam.in. The registrations for online application forms have started from March 13 and the last date to apply online is April 13.— TNS
