Cultural bonanza highlighting dance, fun and frolic marked the annual day function ‘Spectrum’ at Khalsa College Public School, here on Saturday. The event was celebrated amid great zest, vibrancy and elation. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, honorary secretary, Khalsa College Governing Council, who was the chief guest at the function.

Chhina who distributed prizes and honours to the meritorious students hailed the tiny tots after watching their performance. “Such programmes provide platform to the students to showcase their hidden talent of art,” said Chhina, who was earlier welcomed by principal Gurinderjit Kamboj. KCGC vice president Swinder Singh Kathnangal was the guest of honor at the function.

The students from all grades showcased their talent in singing competitions, fancy dress, mimicry, skits, debates, dancing, poetry, painting, rangoli and cartooning. Principal Kamboj said an annual celebration at school was aimed to provide the students with an opportunity to exhibit their prowess on stage.
