New Delhi, September 13

A Delhi court on Friday allowed Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, to travel abroad, saying the ED’s apprehension that he might tamper with evidence was without any basis.

It granted permission to Vadra to travel to Spain from September 21 to October 8. Vadra is facing allegations of money laundering related to purchase of a property in London, at 12, Bryanston Square, worth 1.9 million pounds. The court said the ED’s case was based mainly on documentary evidence.  — PTI
