Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, is seeking applications for its MSc in Wildlife Sciences course. Established in 1982 as Autonomous Institute of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is an internationally acclaimed institution, which offers training programes, academic courses and advisory in wildlife research and management. The institute also, offers PG diploma and certificate course in Wildlife Management.

Eligibility: Courses are open to both Indian and Foreign nationals.

Admission to MSc course is on the basis of NET entrance exam, Personal Aptitude Test and interview. PG Diploma and Certificate courses are for in-service Indian Forest Service and State Forest Service Officers of the rank of Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF)/Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and equivalent.

For selection to PG Diploma and Certificate courses, State Forest Departments or Foreign Government/ Agencies must send nominations of the eligible candidates to the WII.

Selection procedure: Eligible Candidates with a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE /IMI-D internal research aptitude test scores are shortlisted and then selected through personal interviews.
