Chandigarh contractual employees and outsourced workers under the banner of the All Contractual Karamchari Sangh today gathered at Masjid Ground and protested against the UT Administration. They were demanding regularisation, equality and security of their services.

Their other demands include non-replacement of existing outsourced workers in lieu of change of tender, reinstatement of sacked employees, non-advertisement of sanctioned vacant posts of JBT, TGT, clerks on which guest teachers, contract teachers and clerks are working and implementation of the Regularization Policy of Punjab, 2011.

They also demanded disbursement of revised DC rates salary and arrears to sanitation staff of M/s Lions Company under the MC, Central Institute of Hotel Management, Sector 42. — TNS
