Contractor’s house raided, 307 cement bags seized

NURPUR: A Vigilance team, led by ASP Sagar Chand Sharma, today raided the house of a government contractor at Jachh near here.

A Vigilance team, led by ASP Sagar Chand Sharma, today raided the house of a government contractor at Jachh near here. Officials confiscated 307 government supply cement bags — 300 from the house and seven from a tractor-trailer. As per information, the contractor had illegally stacked 300 cement bags in a storeroom. A case has been registered against him. — OC
