Working out on his physique for the past four years, Raman said body building was a very tough task. He said more than hard work, patience was equally required to achieve success in this field. He added that every budding body builder should focus on long-run gains instead of taking up unnatural products for a short period.

Currently a gym trainer and a business man, Raman also recently won the Mr North Indian title in a competition held in Haryana. Besides, in the end of the competition, the Mr Punjab title was bagged by Lalit Goswami from Fazilka for the third time in a row. Earlier, he bagged the title in 2016 and 2017. He competed with all fellow contestants in the Star of Fellow Classic Championship. He has been doing body building for the past six years. He has won many championships.

During the competition, organisers Vishal Lumba and Sony Khosla, who are also body builders, said nowadays young people used steroids to make the body, which was very wrong.

Khosla appealed to the youths that they should leave the steroid and take a natural diet. Besides, they should eat chicken and mutton with vegetables,  he added.
