Workers of Congress Sewa Dal held a protest against the Modi government, terming it as anti-industry and anti-people.

The protest was held on Monday under the leadership of Nirmal Kaura, president of Punjab Congress Sewa Dal. The protest march started from the Circuit House and went till the DC office. With Modi government completing its 100 days today, the workers of Congress Sewa Dal submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the Deputy Commissioner.

Balwinder, in charge of the Punjab unit, said currently the country was going through the worst ever slowdown and businesses were being locked down. “It is only due to the Modi government that investors are losing their money and the auto sector is going through its worst phase. In today’s scenario, the rich are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer. India is going though its worst phase due to Modi,” Kaura said.
