In order to commemorate the birth anniversary of its late founder president of the college, Ishwar Singh, GNN College, Doraha, and GN Model Senior Secondary School organised a cultural function at Dr Ishwar Singh Memorial Hall of the college. The chief guest of the function was Colonel Navjit Singh Sandhu.

He congratulated the management, principal, staff and students for organising a grand cultural extravaganza. Narinder Singh Sidhu, principal of the college, welcomed the guests. Harpratap Brar, general secretary, highlighted the services of the founder. Students of Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School presented dance items on the occasion. TNS

Ludhiana: The campus of Guru Nanak Girls College dazzled with colours on freshers’ day celebration. Senior students of undergraduate and postgraduate departments of science, humanities, fashion designing, commerce, management, computer science and fashion fesigning organised a cultural show to welcome the newcomers. The function commenced with a speech by principal Charanjit Mahal. She welcomed the new students on behalf of the staff and students. An entertaining cultural extravaganza comprising elegant dances and melodious songs was held. As many as 159 students took part in the Miss Fresher contest. TNS
