The city BJP on Wednesday welcomed 10 per cent reservation for those belonging to the general category.

Addressing a press conference, city BJP president Sanjay Tandon said it was a historic move and would reaffirm the faith of people in the BJP’s slogan “sabka saath, sabka vikas.”

The occasion also brought BJP leaders from different groups on one platform. Tandon and Mayor Davesh Moudgil were seen sharing the dais. Sources said they had to put up a united front due to directions from the central leadership.
