Ludhiana, February 15
The CII organised a medical camp in collaboration with SPS Hospital for the Ludhiana police.
The camp focused on providing medical treatment for police officials who work 24x7 for the industrial sectors as well as local citizenry.
Amit Juneja, convener, CII, City Development Core Group, and director Vidhata Group said, “Being an Industrial town with a large migrant population and financial capital of Punjab, Ludhiana has its own set of challenges and to overcome those, the Police Department of our city is a key stakeholder. Our objective of organising today’s camp was primarily to conduct medical examination that covered ECG, blood sugar, blood pressure, along with the medical consultancy to police officers of division number 8, Sadar police station, investigating cell, women’s cell and CAW cell.” Deepak Pareek, ADCP, Headquarters, praised the CII’s initiative and said the camp would help the police to keep up their health.
The initiative will be continued in all police stations of Ludhiana. Approximately 100 police officials availed of benefits at the camp.
