Chemist assn up in arms against online trading

Raising their voice against the online sale of medicines, members of Karnal Chemist Association handed over memorandums to Karnal SDM Narinder Pal Malik and Senior Drug Controller Parvinder Malik on Tuesday.

Dinesh Aggarwal, district president of the association, said they had earlier kept their shops closed against the practice and will continue their protest.

“We are against the online sale of the medicines and it should be banned. There is no check on the quality and prices of the medicines being sold online,” he maintained.

He sought implementation of a Delhi court’s order, in which it had banned the online sale of medicine. —TNS
