Chandigarh Police personnel hold candlelight march in support of Delhi Police

CHANDIGARH: The retired and serving policemen of Chandigarh Police on Wednesday carried out a candlelight march in Sector 17, in support of the Delhi Police.

The retired and serving policemen of Chandigarh Police on Wednesday carried out a candlelight march in Sector 17, in support of the Delhi Police. 

The families of police personnel also participated in the march carried out at the Plaza. 

The cops were seen carrying placards with slogans demanding justice for Delhi Police.

A retired UT police inspector, Pargat Singh, who was part of the candlelight march, said action should be taken against those responsible for brutal attack on the police personnel.

“We strongly condemn the assault on cops in Delhi and we stand by them in their demand for justice,” he added.
