Central team inspects K’shetra Ayush varsity

A team of the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), led by Prof Vijay Pal, on Thursday inspected Shri Krishna Ayush University.

The university has sought approval for five postgraduate (PG) courses. A decision in this regard is likely to be taken soon.

A spokesperson for the university said the institute had proposed various courses, including in surgery and paediatrics.

He said six seats each had been proposed for PG courses in anatomy, physiology and surgery. Similarly, the university had planned to offer three seats in paediatrics and panchkarma.

Principal Usha Dutta said the state government had given in-principle approval for the new courses.
