Car runs over girl in Bahadurgarh

Jhajjar: A four-year-old girl was crushed to death and her mother suffered injuries when a car hit a scooter they were riding in Bahadurgarh on Sunday. The car driver managed to escape. The deceased has been identified as Kavya of the district’s Noona Majra village. The girl’s family disrupted traffic in protest against the incident. On getting information, the police reached the spot and urged protesters to clear the road.   The incident took place when Kavya, along with her parents, was travelling to Bahadurgarh from the village on a scooter.   The car driver has been booked, the police have said.
