Canadian envoy meets Channi

CHANDIGARH: Canadian Immigration Minister Christopher Kerr visited Punjab with an aim to regulate the movement of the youth to Canada, especially Punjabi youngsters.

Canadian Immigration Minister Christopher Kerr visited Punjab with an aim to regulate the movement of the youth to Canada, especially Punjabi youngsters.

Kerr, who looks after migration affairs of India, Nepal and Bhutan, was accompanied by Rahul Sharma, Managing Director, Government of Alberta.

He and his delegation met Punjab Technical Education and Industrial Training and Employment Generation Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and discussed the streamlining of the migration process. — TNS
